Pedasi is a small village in the Peninsula de Azuero who have attracted in the last years several expats and investors, interested in residential and tourism development.
Walking through the centre, you can relax in the beautiful square in front of the church and observe the colonial architecture of its coloured houses.
This town in Los Santos province is the starting point to explore the surroundings beaches and the gorgeous Isla Iguana. Following the coast you will find Playa Venao, perfect for surfing, Isla Caña, a turtles refugee and other beaches as Cambutal.
The closest beaches are Playa El Toro and La Garita, a few km from the town: the first is easy reachable through a paved and then dirty road. They are isolated and have no facilities except a restaurant, but they are fascinating. When the tide is high, the currents could be strong. It's a good place for body board.
Playa El Arenal is the beach from where boat tour to Isla Iguana leave. The water is calm and there are 2 restaurants.
Most of the lodges, restaurants and tour operators are around the main road in the centre, as well as a bank and a tourist info point. The best activities in the area are surfing, diving, wildlife observing and fishing.
